What your day will look like:
- Cultivates existing client relationships and identifies new business opportunities
- Handles takeoffs, communicates with subcontractors and suppliers, prepares estimates, and manages projects
- Collaborates closely with field superintendents to ensure project success
- Supports the contract administrator with billing and receivables tasks
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external customers
- Oversee projects from the bidding phase through to completion and collection
- Understand all aspects of each project and provide support to the field when needed
- Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to ensure project success
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a construction related field or equivalent experience; professional Engineers with construction experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience in estimating and managing INDOT, municipal, and commercial projects, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
- Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of INDOT specifications, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and digitizing takeoff software.
- Familiarity with HCSS Heavy Bid and/or Heavy Job programs is an advantage
